Description:

Irving Burgues Limited Edition Pewter Statue, Barn Swallows. The statues are in great condition with no cracks or nicks on the wood.

Part of the Burgues Birds Collection, one of four bird sculptures he had created. Made of fine pewter and mounted on a wooden base which is signed by the sculptor.

Signed and Dated 1975, Irving C. Burgues Fine Pewter Sculpture of a Barn Swallows. Burgues was born in Austria in 1906 and migrated to the United States in 1940.
